Roses

We grow several thousand Roses each year specifically for our open weekends in the widest possible range of varieties both old and new.

All our Roses are grown in large 4 litre pots from strong 2 year old bare root plants potted up over the winter months ready for our spring sales.

We dont catalogue them or keep stock levels on our computer system, and so for this reason we cannot unfortunately answer enquiries by telephone regarding whether we have specific varieties available at particular sales. Having said that we usually have an excellent selection earlier in the season so its well woth coming to have a look!

Hybrid Tea roses
Floribunda roses
These are the traditional large flowering roses, popular for general planting and rose beds they will bring a splash of colour and welcome scent as well!
The cluster flowered Floribunda Roses have more albeit smaller flowers and are deservedly popular with many uses in the garden either in formal groups or planted amongst other plants.
Climbing roses
Shrub roses
Great for climbing on walls, pergolas or even in trees to give height and colour - not to mention the delicious scent from most varieties. We grow a wide selection of varieties with all colours represented.
This popular group of Roses included many of the old fashioned varieties, often with intoxicating scent! We have a wide selection of varieties suitable for mixed borders, planting in groups, some varieties are even suitable for hedging!
